Orthotics and footwear

Poorly fitted or unsupportive shoes are a leading cause of foot problems and pain. The right shoe, for the right foot, can alleviate pain, support the foot, and encourage a healthy healing response. We work closely with local distributors to ensure your shoes cushion the foot, support the foot, feel comfortable and fit well. If footwear alone does not address your foot pain, our team is experienced in providing custom-made orthotics to treat a variety of foot conditions and deformities. Our podiatrists will take a 3D image of your feet and specifically design an orthotic to treat your pain. We also fit prefabricated and semi-customised orthotics if you require extra support on a budget.

Sports injuries

The podiatrists at Ballarat Podiatry Clinic can provide treatment and education to manage several sporting injuries including forefoot pain, heel pain, tendon injuries and pain associated with arthritis.

Children’s Feet

For children, it can be difficult to distinguish between a foot concern that is part of normal development and one that requires intervention. We would suggest contacting or clinic if your child is experiencing significant foot pain, is tripping during normal activities and movement, or struggling to keep up with other children their age.
